Yoga Retreats In Yosemite

Yosemite Valley is open year-round, but much of the remaining park is closed in late autumn because of snow and re-opens in mid to late spring. Open-air tours around Yosemite Valley and the Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias are available. Many people enjoy short walks and longer hikes to waterfalls in Yosemite Valley, or walks amongst Giant Sequoias in the Mariposa, Tuolumne, or Merced Groves. Others like to drive or take a tour bus to Glacier Point (summer-fall) to see a spectacular view of Yosemite Valley and the high country, or drive along the scenic Tioga Road to Tuolumne Meadows (summer-fall) and go for a walk or hike.

The Red Rooster Lodge

Description:
The Red Rooster Lodge and retreat center was established in 2012 with the idea of community and social gathering as the foundation. The founders of the Red Rooster Lodge, Adam Acosta and Didier Debaud, lived in the south of France where they practiced the ideas of permaculture in their daily lives. On the simplest level, permaculture examines and follows nature's patterns. Permaculture advocates designing human systems based on natural ecosystems. But, there are many other definitions of permaculture, just as there are many definitions of sustainable living
